From time to time, we have adult Bengal cats available for carefully selected homes. These may include young adults we have decided not to keep in our breeding program or retired breeding cats who are ready to enjoy life as a much-loved pet.

An adult Bengal can be an excellent choice for someone who wants the beauty, intelligence, and personality of a Bengal without starting with a young kitten. Their personalities are already well developed, which allows us to tell you much more about their temperament, activity level, confidence, and the type of home where they are most likely to thrive.

We do not place our adult Bengals on a first-come, first-served basis. Our goal is to find the right home for each individual cat. If we currently have adult Bengal cats available, you will find them listed below along with information about their personality and the type of home we believe would be the best match.

Some of our Bengals need to stay locally, allowing us to continue heart screening them at our expense to monitor their health. Others come from lines with extensive heart testing, so we feel confident they no longer require additional scans. Each cat’s history and needs are carefully considered to ensure they are placed in the most suitable home. We prioritize homes that live within driving distance, so the cat can easily be returned to us if the match is working for both the cat and the new family.

Every Bengal is unique, with its own personality, preferences, and requirements. It’s important to pay close attention to the specific needs of each cat. Rehoming an adult cat multiple times is deeply traumatic for them, so we ask that you carefully consider whether your home aligns with their needs before making a decision. Wildernesswell Isla – Under 1 year old Bengal cat 

Isla is a sweet, sensitive girl who can be timid when she first meets someone. She is not the type of cat who immediately walks into a new situation and acts as though she owns the place. She needs a little time to watch, settle in, and decide that she feels safe.

Once Isla opens up, though, she is very loving and forms a close bond with her person. She would do best in a quiet home with patient people who are willing to let that relationship develop at her pace. Because she is sensitive to a lot of fast movement and noise, she would not be a good match for a home with loud, young children.

Isla gets along well with other cats of both genders and is also comfortable with dogs. However, because she enjoys the company of other animals, we would want her new family to take the time to establish a strong relationship with her before introducing her to resident cats. If she is introduced to other cats too quickly, it would be very easy for Isla to bond primarily with them and become more of a “cat’s cat” than a people-oriented companion.

For the right patient, quieter home, Isla has the potential to become an exceptionally loving and devoted companion.

Isla is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

SolanaRanch Jungle Jewel – Six-year-old Bengal cat

Jewel is a beautiful six-year-old Bengal who is spayed, vaccinated, and HCM screened with no signs of heart disease. She is exceptionally healthy, confident, outgoing, and very comfortable in her own skin.

Jewel was born during COVID, when cat shows were shut down, so she never had the opportunity to be shown as a youngster. Because of her confidence and temperament, we think she could potentially enjoy harness training and might even be able to show as an alter. Of course, show potential is never something we can guarantee, but she certainly has the personality to make it worth exploring.

Jewel is a strong, confident female and will want to be the boss of her household. She can live with male cats and dogs, but she is not a good match for a home with another female cat.

She is also confident enough for a home with young children and would likely enjoy being part of a busy family where she gets plenty of attention and interaction.

Jewel is not a retiring girl looking for a quiet corner. She is a confident, social Bengal who is ready to become a real part of someone’s family.
