Wildernesswell Just Plain Fancy

Fancy is very different from the other Wildernesswell girls in being from a domestic outcross line. She is two generations from a domestic shorthair bred to an Exotic shorthair x Bengal. Her father is all Bengal, and Fancy looks like him in all the important ways. While Fancy’s mother took more of her domestic shorthair side in her appearance, her father really passed on his Bengal looks to Fancy. She inherited his rich rufous coloring, his arrowhead/pawprint style rosetting, and the icing on the cake was that Fancy displays a great deal of countershading on her underside, not something I would have expected on a second-generation domestic outcross. I am more than intrigued to see the next generation from Fancy. If they inherit her sweetness and good looks, then they are sure to be amazing.

Fancy’s Genetic Lineup: TaM/TaM, A/A2, M/M4, PK Deficiency N/K, and PRAb N/N, which means Fancy is homozygous spotted; she carries for longhair. Fancy carries PK Deficiency, so will not be bred to any males who carry this. Fancy tested negative for HCM in 2025.
