Catology Education Day

Join us for Catology Education Day on Thursday, February 18, 2027, at Circus Circus in Reno, Nevada. This full day of education is designed for breeders, exhibitors, and serious cat enthusiasts who want to deepen their understanding of feline health, genetics, and responsible breeding practices.

The day includes four seminars: Medical Practices at Home with Nikki Crandall-Seibert, DVM; Genetics 101 with Adriana Kajon, PhD; Line Breeding & Outcrossing with Jon Paterson; and Color Genetics with Lorraine Shelton. Together, the sessions offer practical information breeders can use in everyday decision-making, from caring for cats at home to understanding inheritance, breeding strategies, and coat-color genetics.

The public is welcome, and TICA Judges may earn up to 5.5 hours of continuing education credit.
