Wildernesswell Female Cats

When we got married, we decided that each one of us would keep our own cattery name, but we would operate together under Quality Bengal Kittens.  Since kittens are registered based on the owner of the mother cat, each one of our litters will be registered based on whether the mother is Jon's cat or Robyn's cat.

These are the girls of Wildernesswell.

Wildernesswell Kamali

from Cositoes Shaded Tweed and Wildernesswell Khusleen
Kamali is the first SBT female we have kept from the Safarii of Awilddream line, and we couldn't be happier with her. Kamali is brown spotted, although her cool tones often have people guessing that she is silver. Kamali has inherited the elegant yet powerful body structure of her mother and grandmother. Her ears are very rounded and well-set. This is something that was very consistent in the litters produced from Khusleen and Cositoes Shaded Tweed. As a real piece of icing on the cake, Kamali has also kept very prominent ocelli on the backs of her ears. This trait has been hard to keep in many lines but seems to be strongly passed down this line, and we are excited to see if Kamali can pass it well too. Kamali is a very sweet and affectionate girl. She is always quick to come running when we come home and is usually underfoot wherever we are.

Kamali's Genetic Lineup: TaM/TaM, A/Apb, C/cs, PK Deficiency N/N, and PRAb N/N which means she is homozygous spotted; she carries one copy of leopard cat agouti, she also carries seal lynx and does not carry for PK Deficiency or PRAb. Kamali's parents both tested negative for HCM in 2021. See Kamali's Wisdom Panel Test Results including her Genetic Diversity at 37%.

Supernova Reloaded - Ree

from Crestwood Adonis of Wildernesswell and Wildernesswell Trinity of Supernova
Ree is a fourth-generation female from the Matrix of Utaneko line, and we are over the moon to have her. Ree's mother, Trinity, was the only female I ever got from this line, I blundered when I didn't keep her, but thankfully she had gone to our good friends, Linda and Kevin, at Supernova. When we got the opportunity to get a girl back from them, I was so happy and grateful. Ree is a gorgeous girl and such a sweet-natured soul. From the moment she arrived here, she has greeted everyone with a purr and a head rub. As well as her amazingly sweet personality, Ree has a beautiful structure. Her top line has a wild, flowing curvature which emphasizes her deep and beautifully proportioned body. Ree moves like she is made of liquid. Ree inherited some of the countershading carried in both sides of her pedigree and the rich gold eyes that come from her father's line.

Ree's Genetic Lineup: TaM/TaB, PK Deficiency N/N, and PRAb N/PRA, which means Ree carries marble; she does not carry for PK Deficiency, but she does carry PRAb. None of our male cats carry PRAb, so we cannot produce any positive cats for this condition. Ree tested negative for HCM in 2023. See Ree's Wisdom Panel Test Results.

Wildernesswell Laurel Crown

Wildernesswell Butterfly Effect (Echo)

From Wildernesswell Amaranthus and Wildernesswell Chaos Theory

When Theo and Amara were paired, the goal was to get good ears and, if possible, to bring together the looks of the grandmothers from either side of the pedigree. In head type, Echo really favors her 3G maternal grandmother, Laurel, which I am delighted about. I knew there was a 50% chance of marbles in this pairing, and Echo's marbling really stood out to me, too. Echo has whited genetics on both sides of her pedigree, and she looks like she has a good chance of retaining this in the long term, which adds so much depth to her overall color spectrum. On top of all of Echo's beautiful traits, her temperament is fantastic. She is extremely sweet and so great at welcoming visitors to the house. She loves all the other cats, and already shows signs of being a future matriarch as she maintains peace when any of the other cats are having a bit of a disagreement.

Wildernesswell Shoshana

from Thunderrrpaws Battle Cry and Wildernesswell Amaranthus
Shoshana is a fifth-generation girl from the Juara of Eraser line. Shoshana was an instant keeper at birth. She looked so like her grandmother, Wildernesswell Laurel Crown, in her face and head structure that it was love at first sight. She is everything I hoped for and more from her parents. From Amara, she took the head shape that I love so much, with incredible sculpting to her cheekbones and a very chiseled muzzle, a low set, puffy nose leather, and her long, deep torso. From Battle Cry, she took his better-proportioned nose width, pawprint-style pattern, and vivid coloring.  In energy, Shoshana again takes after her grandmother, Laurel, but with a more gentle play style. Shoshana combines so much of the structure and coat that I want to piece together on my cats. Her strong countershading is the absolute silver lining to this beautiful girl.

Shoshana's Genetic Lineup: TaM/TaB, A/A2, C/cs, PK Deficiency N/K, and PRAb N/N, which means Shoshana carries marble, seal lynx, and PK Deficiency. She does not carry PRAb. See Shoshana's Wisdom Panel test results, including her 35% Genetic Diversity.
