Quality Bengal Kittens Advisory Membership

The Quality Bengal Kittens Advisory Membership serves two purposes:

  1. It replaces the Waitlist by reserving people's place in line to select a kitten based on their Membership date.
  2. Optionally, you may also attend a once monthly Zoom for two-years of support designed to maintain thoughtful, well-prepared Bengal kitten ownership. It provides direct access to breeder guidance and ongoing education.

While the two-year membership costs $500, you receive a $500 credit toward the purchase price of a kitten if you choose to purchase within your membership term. This program replaces our traditional Waitlist moving forward and offers more support and value than a deposit-based system.

Transition From Our Previous Waitlist System

Families who joined the Quality Bengal Kittens Waitlist prior to the introduction of the Advisory Membership will be honored under the terms that were in place at the time they joined. For upcoming litters, Waitlist families will receive kitten selection opportunities first, in the order established under the prior system. After Waitlist selections are completed, Advisory Membership invitations to schedule Kitten Selection Day appointments will be extended. Any remaining availability may then be offered to the general public. The Advisory Membership replaces waitlists moving forward and does not alter commitments made under the previous system.

Why Our Advisory Guidance Matters

We bring more than 25 years of experience breeding Bengal cats to this program, along with deep generational knowledge of temperament, health, and behavior across bloodlines. Our health standards exceed minimum requirements and include a five-year health guarantee. We are actively involved in the professional cat community as CFA Breed Council Members, and Robyn has been elected by the TICA Bengal breed membership as Breed Chair. We created and host an educational cat show once a year - Catology Cats in Reno, Nevanda. We continue to invest in ongoing education and professional development; Jon is currently enrolled in a Feline Behavior Program to ensure our guidance evolves alongside current research and best practices.

Why We Offer This Program

Bengal cats are intelligent, high-energy, and deeply interactive. Many challenges people experience with Bengals are not breed flaws but preparation gaps. The Advisory Membership allows us to educate future owners before problems arise, offer thoughtful guidance instead of rushed decisions, and support long-term success for both cats and families. Our goal is not speed. Our goal is fit, preparation, and lasting success.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Quality Bengal Kittens Advisory Membership?
The Advisory Membership is an educational program that provides breeder guidance, preparation, and early access to Kitten Selection Day appointments. It is designed to help families make informed decisions and set themselves up for long-term success with a Bengal cat.

What do I receive as a member?
Members receive one live Advisory Zoom session per month. People considering getting a Bengal or wanting to learn about what is involved with Bengal ownership would attend Pre-Sale session.  Once people bring home a Bengal kitten, they can attend Post-Sale sessions. This gives everyone access to breeder guidance and education, early invitations to schedule Kitten Selection Day appointments, and a $500 credit toward the purchase price of a kitten if purchased within the two-year membership term.

How does the $500 membership credit work?
If you purchase a kitten within your two-year membership term, $500 is applied to the total purchase price. The credit applies to up to two kittens purchased at the same time, is applied once per membership, is non-transferable, and expires with the membership.

Do I need a membership to buy a kitten from you?
No. Membership is not required to purchase a kitten. However, it is the only way to receive early invitations to schedule Kitten Selection Day appointments.

Do I have to attend the Zoom meetings if I purchase a membership?
No. Members are not required to attend the Zoom meetings.  They will still receive the notes from the Zoom meetings, and they will still receive early access to Kitten Selection Appointments.

What does “early access” to Kitten Selection Day mean?
Advisory Members receive the first invitations to schedule Kitten Selection Day appointments before invitations are extended to the general public. Membership does not reserve a specific kitten or guarantee availability.

How are Kitten Selection Day appointments ordered?
Appointment invitations are offered in order based on membership start date.

What are the Advisory Zoom sessions like?
Members receive one live Zoom session per month, choosing between Pre-Sale and Post-Sale Advisory sessions. Sessions are educational, limited to 60 minutes, and include emailed summary notes afterward.

Can I ask questions during the Zoom sessions?
Yes. Questions are submitted in advance so we can prepare thoughtful responses. Live follow-up questions may be addressed if time permits. We reserve the right to defer questions to future sessions.

Is the Advisory Membership a deposit?
No. The Advisory Membership is an educational and advisory service. It does not reserve a kitten.

What happens if I never buy a kitten?
The membership fee is for 24 educational Zoom sessions and access to early Kitten Selection Appointments. The $500 membership fee is non-refundable if no kitten is purchased.

How long does the membership last?
The Advisory Membership lasts two years (or 24 sessions) from the date of enrollment.

Do you provide medical or behavioral diagnoses during the Zooms?
No. We do not diagnose medical conditions, and all diagnoses must be made by a licensed veterinarian. We can discuss health and behavior concerns and may recommend working with a licensed veterinarian or qualified behaviorist when appropriate.

How does the Advisory Membership relate to your previous waitlist?
Families who joined our Waitlist prior to the Advisory Membership are honored under the prior system and receive selection opportunities first. After Waitlist selections are completed, Advisory Membership invitations are extended, followed by the general public if availability remains.
